Pirate!EnglandXReader Count 5
(Part 5)
"I still don't understand why you're doing this." You just rolled your eyes at Arthur and shoved on boots.
"I'm doing this because, to be honest, it's embarassing you can't swim." Arthur's nostrils flared in indignation, but he stayed silent. You led the way out of the house.
You almost tripped and swore. The boots were way too big, they almost fell off with each step. You were glad you had them, though, when you both reached the edge of the cove.
Your back ached, feeling those rocks slash you open. You swallowed and stepped up on one.
"Be careful." You turned with a brow raised, expecting Arthur's mocking face. Instead, his eyes are serious. You nodded.
When you reached the other side, a small tendril of triumph floated up through you. Hooray, you're still alive!
It was cold outside, and you both shivered. Arthur had called you mad after you told him of your new plan, but you waved it off. "It'll wake you up," you said, smirking. Now, you were regretting it.
"Alright then," you kicked off your boots and waded into the water up to your ankles. You bit your lip, feeling chills race up your spine. You turned. "Come on!"
Arthur stared out at the sea. The waves were almost nonexistant, lapping at your feet. He slowly went out, until his ankles were immersed as well.
"Bloody hell, this is rediculous."
"Do you have something better to do?"
Arthur said nothing.
You forced yourself to step forward. The water met the hem of your pants, spreading up the leg greedily. You glanced back at Arthur, now up to your knees. He was looking back, looking very wary.
You sighed exageratedly. "I can't believe you are scared of the ocean. You lived on a SHIP."
"Hey! I'm not scared!" Liar. His shoulders were tensed up and his eyes kept flicking everywhere.
You huffed. Well, you could just haul him into the water and shove him into the deep. Plenty of people learned to swim that way. Though, something told you Arthur would just completely panic and drown.
You stiffened at that thought. Never mind. Your lips twitched as you came up with a more amusing plan of action.
You cupped water in your hands and flung it at the blond. Completely shocked, he spluttered, water dripping from his face. You burst out laughing, eyes closed in mirth.
"You look so silly! Like a little bo-" You were cut off when water was dumped over your head. You looked up to see Arthur standing in knee-length water, a satisfied smile on his face.
"Really?"
"Really."
You splashed water at each other. You discreetly took a step back whenever he sent a whip of water at you, making him go deeper and deeper in. You had managed to get some salt water in Arthur's mouth, and he spat it out, wiping his mouth dramatically. It was then he realized where he was. As you had hoped, he was now chest deep in the sea.
As you had hoped, you had managed to get him more comfortable about the ocean. Your demeanor changed from teasing to buisinesslike. "Alright," you started, ripping the thread out of your hair and tying it up again. "Watch me." You demonstrated a simple stroke, only swimming a few feet away from Arthur. You repeated it back to him and stood back up, wiping your eyes. "Now you try."
The wariness was back in Arthur's face. You groaned. "Look, you need to calm down. I'm right here. I won't let anything happen to you." The statement souned painfully tender. You felt your cheeks warm.
"If you want, we can start in shallower water." Arthur nodded and waded back.
You kept trying to teach him, though he was largely unhelpful. He was very reluctant to even attempt to copy your moves, and even if he did it was in water so shallow his sides scraped against the sand. You dragged him out deeper, but your heart suddenly dropped.
As the day wore on, the waves got bigger and bigger. Now, as you both stood up to your middles again, a huge wave was almost on top of you. Arthur was mad about being forced to go in the deep again and frowned at you, unaware of the threat.
You grabbed his hand. "What are you-"
"Don't let go." You struggled to keep your voice steady. He turned and his eyes widened. He started to panic but you grasped his hand so hard he shut up. "Hold your bre-" The wave curled onto you, cutting off your cry. Arthur's grip became crushing as you tumbled in the water.
You kept your mouth closed, though you wouldn't last much longer. Which way was up, which was down, you had no idea. You slammed into the bottom and pain cracked trough your whole side. Your lungs screamed for air and your mind was one siren of panic, making your thoughts jumbled.
Something nearly pulled your arm out of its socket. You felt the sand under you and the water trailed away.
You were on the shore. You gasped, coughing up water, fingers clawing into the ground. You were alright, you were alive. You turned your head, afraid to look.
Arthur was there, holding your hand. "You're welcome."

You woke up to pitch black nothingness. There was nothing in your sight but horrible darkness. A soft material was tied around your head, covering your eyes. You found that your wrists were bound by rope too, and you had literally no idea what was happening. The last thing you remembered was your house going up in flames. The licking flames that engulfed your whole home and you could only hope that your family was still alive.
“W-where am I…?” You stuttered, not sure whether anyone was even there to respond. A loud chuckle sounded, and you realised that you were not

Arthur surveyed the seas, watching the horizon. The sun lifted up slowly, making the clouds burst with different hues of orange and pink. He sighed and gave a small smile.
"Cap'n! What 're you doing out here so early?" The man looked back at you and shook his head.
"Couldn't sleep." He adjusted his hat and sighed heavily. "Might as well be ready for the day then, am I right?" You snaked your arms around his waist and nuzzled into his neck, taking in the warmth that was your lover.
Arthur gave you a small peck on the lips and put his arm around you, bringing you to his side.
"Well, love; it seems that this day will be a calm one. Little cl

''Now that everyone is ready, let's start the ship okay?'' states Captain Antonio to his shipmate. You stood quietly looking out to sea when you felt a gentle tap about your shoulder. You turned to face the captain smiling at you. ''Do you mind if I stand around here?''
''Not at all Captain'' you said returning back to the sea. ''it's beautiful isn't it?'' he asks. ''Yes, it's very beautiful indeed.'' You smiled as you saw the glistening of the water. ''You seem to be having a nice time here ever since you started, I'm glad you're on this ship'' he complimented. You turned b
